We have many exciting new ministries that have started this year at Word of Life! Our new Men’s ministry and Senior’s ministry met for the first time in the month of January, and are becoming well organized ministries. It is important for our members and visitors to understand the many purposes of these ministries. There are four main purposes for the Ministries within our church. These are out-reach, in-reach, up-reach and down-reach.

Out-Reach: The church reaching out to those outside the church. (Evangelism, Missions)

In-Reach: The church reaching in to those inside the church. (Encouragement, Fellowship)

Up-Reach: The church reaching up by communicating and giving to God. (Praising, Prayer, Worship)

Down-Reach: God reaching down by communicating and giving to the church. (Bible Study, Preaching, Teaching, the Holy Spirit)

Our goal is to provide members and our community with ministries that reach outside our church, reach inside our church and reach up to God, with the result of God touching and blessing all those involved. Let us not forget that all ministries that take place within our church are for God’s glory.

Branches of the Vine Women’s Ministry is a place for women of every age.  Our goal is to be a ministry that is active in the community and supports and mentors it’s members.  We currently have a food pantry in place to assist those in need and are working on several other outreach projects. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY:
The spiritual formation of our children, all ages, are a priority within Word of Life Community Church. We have nursery, preschoolers/toddlers and classes for children 6-10yrs. of age.  As ministry demands increase, we will continue to evolve our program to meet the needs of our children. Classes are offered during our worship service for all ages through 10 yrs. old.SUNDAY SCHOOL:
Join us for Sunday school at Word of Life where we strongly believe in discipleship. Our teachers and leaders are dedicated to the work of teaching Gods Word in an easy to understand manner so that you are challenged to apply biblical principles to your everyday walk with the Lord. We are confident that you will develop a strong relationship with other believers as you learn to grow in your faith. Each week we take a fresh look at His word which is powerful, exciting and alive.
