Baptism: For those of you who have heard the Good News of Jesus Christ, and have not yet been baptized, we urge you to call Pastor Jeff @ 919-602-2811, to find out the purpose of baptism & decide if you would like to take that measure of faith and action.
New Members: If you have recently joined our church and have not received a new member packet, please contact the pastor via email @ pastor@wordoflifecommunitychurch.net. Also, if you would like to be added to our prayer chain via email, please send your request to the same address.
Harvest Table: Please browse over the Harvest Table (located against the back wall in the sanctuary, near the kitchen pass through). All items on the table are available for any donation amount. The Women’s Ministry, Branches of the Vine, uses that money to provide for members in need
Food Lion Support: Please email your MVP number to Lisa @ (LisaChappell2911@gmail.com). The Women’s Ministry receives cash back on purchases, used to help provide for members in need.
Service Opportunities
Nominating Committee: If you are interested in serving on our new nominating committee, whose purpose is to seek and nominate individuals best suited for a variety of volunteer roles within our church, please contact John@ 919-418-0325 or email: jellis2071@nc.rr.com.
Vacation Bible School: We are offering VBS to our kids and kids in the Rolesville area Sun Aug. 4 – Wed Aug. 7th from 6– 8:30pm. To help cover the expense of materials we are having a Pancake Breakfast at the Applebee’s in Knightdale on Sat April 6, from 8– 10am. Cost is $7 for adults ($6 for kids under 12.) Easter Outreach: The following volunteers are needed; face-painters, cook, servers, cashier, evangelists, and line monitor at Rolesville Park on March 30th. Also needed are volunteers to help with parking, egg hunts, rides & clean-up. Please sign the sheet in the back of the church, and identify the area in which you are willing to serve. Please note this is an all day event.
Relay for Life: For those not familiar with this organization, the monies raised go toward cancer research. The relay is scheduled for May in Rolesville. We need volunteers to help obtain contributions, sponsors for teams, to help walk in the effort and to work at our booth. Please consider serving in this capacity. If you have any questions, you may contact Pastor Gary.
Church Cleaning: If you can help a little or a lot, please contact Pastor Gary to volunteer a date or dates that best fit your schedule.
Search Committee: The elder body has created a search committee to interview candidates for the position of Worship Leader. Their first meeting will be held Wednesday, March 6th, 8:00 pm following the Wednesday evening Bible study. Please keep them in your prayers as they seek God’s direction for this vital link for the ministry of Word of Life Community Church.
Fellowship & Spiritual Growth Opportunities:
Sunday School: Sunday mornings at 10:00 before the a.m. service.
Sunday Service: Sunday mornings at 10:45.
Men’s Ministry: Our next meeting is a Men’s Ministry Breakfast Saturday March 16 at 8a.m. here at the church. ALL men are invited and welcome for a time of food, fellowship and faith. For more information, call John @ 919-418-0325.
