Announcements for February 5th, 2012
Today Pastor Gary Chappell will be bringing the message. Please welcome him in the absence of our pastor and his family.
Today is Communion Sunday. If you have accepted Christ as your personal Savior and do not have any barriers between you and the Lord or another brother (or sister) you are welcome to share in the Lord’s Supper with us.
This month’s Elder meeting will take place this Wednesday, immediately following Bible Study.
Next Sunday will be a special service as Gary Chappell will be ordained and charged with being an elder at Word of Life Community Church.
The movie “Courageous” will be showing March 4th at our church at 6pm. Please invite visitors and anyone you think may like to see this movie. The youth will be selling popcorn, drinks and snacks to help them raise money for the youth program.
The Women’s Ministry continues to have cookbooks for sale. If you are interested in purchasing a cookbook please see one of the ladies. The cost is $8.50.
Attention Ladies: Please join the Women’s Ministry for our February meeting on Feb. 28th at 7pm. See Jessica Vigeant with questions.
The Women’s Ministry will be showing the movie “Passion of the Christ” on March 24th at 5pm. Admission to the event is free and food will be available for a small cost. Proceeds of this event will go towards the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering which funds missionaries in the US and Canada. Childcare will be provided. See Jessica Vigeant with questions.
